Buret
A small piece of apparatus which typically consists of a narrow tube into which fluid is drawn by suction (as for dispensing or measurement) and retained by closing the upper end.
Pipet
A metal stand consisting of a long upright rod attatched to a heavy rectangular base that is used with rings and claps for supporting laboratory apparatus.
Ring Stand
A deep widemouthed thin-walled vessel usually with a lip for pouring that is used especially in science laboratories.
Beaker
A flat-bottomed conical laboratory flask.
Erlenmeyer Flask
A tall narrow container with a volume scale used especially for measuring liquids.
Grad. Cylinder
A plain or lipped tube usually of thin glass closed at one end and used especially in chemistry and biology.
Test Tube
An instrument for detemining temperature consisting typically of a glass bulb attatched to a fine tube of glass with a numbered scale and containing liquid (as mercury or colored alcohol) that is sealed in and rises and falls with changes of temperature.
Thermometer
Any of numerous grasping devices consisting commonly of two pieces joined at one end by a pivot or hinged like scissors.
Tongs
A plate for high throughput screening and sample storage.
Well Plate
An instrument for weighing as a beam that is supported freely in the center and has two pans of equal weight suspended from its ends, or a device that uses the elasticity of a spiral spring for measuring weight or force.
Balance
